Bio 
I am an eclectic photographer who loves to view the world through my viefinder. I have always been fascinated with the art of photography but it has only been recently that I have decided to take up the art professionally myself.
I started my training in Crime Scene Photography which focused on mastering overall shots and capturing fine details through macro photography. I've also taken a few courses in digital photography, but most of what I've learned has been taught by my twin sister who has been a professional photographer for over 13 years now. It was her passion that really drew me to view things in a whole new light and she has also really taught me how to appreciate the intricacies and surprises that can be found in the details of even the most mundane things. I favor natural lighting and taking a photo journalistic approach to portraiture. I love the honesty found in capturing personality in candid shots rather than unnatrual poses that tend to make us look awkward. My fine art tends to focus on nature and the abstract, but I am always looking for new subjects to photograph and new techniques to try.
I also have a backround in scrapbooking. I have been scrapbooking for years and have taught classes and workshops in the art of memory preservation. Scrapbooking has given me a real appreciation for the importance of photography and in the importance of capturing and documenting the treasured moments in our lives. A picture really is worth a thousand words.
